For alternative materials — especially those relying on resins, binders, or synthetic coatings — compliance is going to get expensive. Some products may simply become unviable in the European market within the next five years.

Honestly, I think we're only at the beginning of this shift. The numbers support it: the European ceramic sanitary ware market is projected to hit $4.1 billion by 2035, with value growing faster than volume. That's a premiumization trend, not a commoditization one.
